Project 365 Sunday update #8 & 9
Appologies, time for blogging doesn't seem to have been my friend of late. But here are the past 2 weeks of my 365.
Wandering through the local forest I bumped into Mark walking the family lab, Day 60.
Day 61 leaves. I thought the texture on these dry leaves warranted a photograph.
Random dangly thing from my mums summer house for Day 62.
Day 63. Looking around for interesting textures, this is bark from a dead fir tree.
Day 64. I stumbled upon some broken glass, different colours etc. I just thought the way the light was hitting it gave it a nice look.
Out with the 28 1.8 for Day 65. seeing how close I could get to some grass.
One side of one of my Dumbbells on Day 66.
Day 67, FOCUS on Imaging, NEC Arena Birmingham. 50D test image. Gareth Heesom let me borrow his 50D so I could give it a test run while we were wandering around FOCUS. I cranked the ISO to the highest setting 12,800 to see how it handled noise, and to allow me to see what I needed to do to reduce the amount of noise in the image while capturing, I think I still have a way to go before I can make ISO12,800 as clean as the 20D @ ISO3200.
Day 68. Bird of Paradise.
Day 69. Chinese Lantern.
Day 70. Random flower in the conservatory.
Day 71. Yup another random flower, don't ask me, I'm no botanist..
Day 72. Max got my dad to build him a ramp. This was the most air he managed to grab. Although I should have been shooting at a smaller aperture to capture more of him in focus, I still like it.
We spent the day at Crufts. This English Setter didn't make it though, but he had such a great look about him, I had to ask the owner if he minded me taking a shot. He had a great temperament as well..
